For decades clients, friends and others have enjoyed tailgating with Melvin and his family. Tailgating, sponsored by Melvin E. Barnette & Associates, Inc., is truly a "happening" at every home football game at Clemson University. Current and past clients of Melvin E. If you have difficulty understanding the map, find Gate 1 (the Clemson Students Gate) at the Southeast corner of Death Valley Stadium. This gate is on the same end of the stadium as Howard’s Rock and where the Tiger Team enters the football field at game time. Walk up the sidewalk going South (away from Gate 1 towards the entrance to Cemetery Hill). As you walk up the sidewalk, there will be reserved spaces on the grass (not on the street) to your right. After about five or six vehicles, there is a large oak tree. Five vehicles past the oak tree is Space No. 2746 where you will find our white minibus. The photo and the map will assist you in locating the bus in relationship to Gate 1 (Student Gate just above Howard's Rock). You can see Gate 1 in the upper right portion of the photo.

We are usually congregated behind the bus under the trees, engaged in eating, drinking and having much fun. Melvin is usually found at the rear of the bus, preparing and serving refreshments to our guests. Be sure to find him and identify yourself. This is essential for participating.
